    Super glad to finally get an update! But just wondering, is the new version compatible with python 3.9? Just tried to run my old games on python 3.8.6 and I got the welcome message and no error, but I didn't see any window anymore and I am trying to figure out what is wrong...

    Yeah, it works with python 3.9. If you can't figure it out, feel free to drop an issue in github, or ask for help on the reddit/stackoverflow/discord/mailing list :)

    I already posted it on github and figured it out... something in my sublime setup caused an error but only in version 2.0.0 and not in 1.9.6. Looking very much forward to making lots of games in pygame2 :)
